I will contact the three winners and will try to mail the tag sets off as soon as I get your postal addresses... Congratulations

Giveaway Winners

Thank you to all who entered the birthday blog giveaway and thank you for your good wishes, too. The process of choosing the winners started at 10am Australian Eastern Standard time today, with a very trustworthy and  independent assistant. I can guarantee that she had no vested interests. All the names of the participants were put into a felt bowl, and my assistant chose three - one at a time. Congratulations to winners :  Maegan Morin, Leilani Lyons, and Jennifer 57!   I will contact you now to decide who gets what and to get your postal address so the gifts can be posted as soon as possible.

A Week of Wool and Winners

We have had a few days of cold, wet and wintry weather, so it seemed just right last week to create with wool. I have been making little free form pieces which I hope to transform into some of my altered bags for some individual orders amd for the Edelweiss gallery which wants more stock coming into the colder months. And, just for me, I have started to knit a pair of socks from Kaffee Fassett wool – quite an extravagance, but I can’t wait to get the lovely wool socks on my feet. My family, it seems, also love wearing and playing with wool. I made Kellie this little shrug as the cardigan I made for her last year was too big. Jim's Aunty Maureen now has the cardigan, and loves it and Kellie is much happier with her warm woolly shrug. Kellie's little son , our outdoorsy grandson, William wouldn’t be without his woolly hat in this weather. My blog friend from South Australia has been sending me lovely parcels of goodies, and in the last one, was a set of wool knitted finger puppe...

Workshop and Winners

Wonderful work from my polymer clay workshop last Sunday! Everyone worked fast and furiously and produced some great pieces, all ready for making stunning jewellery and embellished creations. Congratulations to all - it was a really lovely day and thanks to Bobbi and Jane from LambtoArt Studio for providing such a spacious and well-equipped workspace. My ETSY shop was one on 20 March, and I had a giveaway competition. This was the birthday competition which closed on 30 March. To celebrate a year of ETSY, I chose five dates randomly from 20 March 2008 to 30 March 2009 and if you "hearted" my shop on the chosen dates, you will receive a wonderful handmade item as a gift. The random integer generator online chose five numbers between 1 and 375 ( each day from 20 March 2008 - 30 March 2009 was numbered). No one actually hearted the shop on the randomly selected dates, so I chose the nearest date. Here are the winners: From the Random Integer Generator Here are your random numbe...
