The stamp refers to the Holy Bible , Luke 2:10 ... But the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid. I bring you good news that will cause great joy for all the people. Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is the Messiah, the Lord. The colours are also drawn from the stamp's design - some touches of gold The Angel is a stamped image on a background of marks made by ink on fabric and then attached to a used envelope, which must have once held a Christmas card sent to us - the postmark says "Birmingham UK".
